Across India. 1000s thousands of young men are queueing through the night to join the Army under its contentious new Agnipath scheme,  under which most soldiers will be recruited for only four years, a move that had sparked violent protests. As the protests died out and the recruitment begins, NDTV's Truth vs Hype spent 12 hours at an Agniveer trial in Uttar Pradesh to understand why these men are willing to endure the hardship of all-night queues to become part-time soldiers.
