Orthodox Christians in the Greek village of Tolo celebrated Good Friday with a traditional procession of the Epitaph.
Footage shows the procession of worshipers walk through the streets of Tolo as women with candles sung hymns until they reached the beach and the Epitaph was carried into the sea under the red light of flares.
Orthodox Christians celebrate Good Friday on a different date due to their use of the Julian calendar, rather than the Gregorian calendar used by other Christian denominations.
