France's Constitutional Council has approved an unpopular plan to raise the retirement age from 62 to 64 that unleashed mass protests. It marks a victory for President Emmanuel Macron after three months of public anger over the legislation that have damaged his leadership. In the U.S., Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed legislation on Thursday that would ban most abortions after six weeks in the state of Florida. The ban includes exemptions for cases of rape, human trafficking and incest, in those instances allowing an abortion up to 15 weeks of pregnancy.
