Several hundred members of Cologne's Iraqi community rallied in front of the city's cathedral on Saturday, to express dismay at the rising death toll from anti-government protests in Iraq.
At least 93 people have been killed and nearly 4,000 injured in nation-wide clashes between protesters and police, according to Iraq's Human Rights Commission.
The latest wave of protest started on Tuesday, with thousands of people marching across the country to denounce corruption, unemployment and poor standards of living.
Iraqi President Adel Abdul lifted a curfew in Baghdad on Saturday, after first being imposed on Wednesday.
