"The negative consequences for the UK will be more significant than for Germany", German Economy Minister Brigitte Zypries stated at a press conference in Berlin, Wednesday, as the UK officially started Brexit process.
She said, "I regret that the UK has, today, submitted the formal leaving request. We would have preferred to have seen the country inside the European Union," before adding "now we will negotiate the exit and then watch how we can newly shape our economic relationships with a new EU-UK agreement."
