German Chancellor and G7 summit host Olaf Scholz welcomed the representatives of the 'outreach' countries and international organizations in the courtyard of Bavaria's Schloss Elmau Castle in Krün on Monday, where world leaders posed for a "family photo."

The heads of India, Indonesia, South Africa, Senegal and Argentina were part of this year's outreach program. After posing for the classic photo with the G7 leaders the group went on for lunch and a working session.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine and the global economic fallout such as soaring energy and food prices has dominated this year's summit of the leaders of Germany, the United States, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Britain.
