The war in Ukraine, Climate concerns, food insecurity and inflation are on the agenda for the Group of Seven leaders.
Official meetings just outside the Bavarian capital are due to start Monday.
It is now over 4 months since the start of the conflict- and it has become a deadly war of attrition in Eastern Ukraine.
