Petrol and diesel prices were today hiked by 80 paise a litre each, taking the total increase in fuel rates in the last 10 days to Rs. 6.40 per litre. This morning, the Congress launched its nationwide protest on the issues of inflation and fuel price hike. Senior party leader Rahul Gandhi is expected to lead the party's protest at Vijay Chowk in Delhi.
