Thousands gathered in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Sunday for the 'March for Life,' an annual march in protest of the legalisation of abortions.
The event brought together various anti-abortion and pro-life activist associations, with the slogan, "To live is a right."
"We are here to defend the babies who are aborted every day,” says Marie-Alice, one of the protesters. “Three babies out of five die every day, because of abortions.”
The 'March for Life' which started in 2005 and takes place every hear in late January in commemoration of the 1975 law which legalised abortion, has become the largest pro-life gathering in Europe.
Some Yellow Vests protesters also took part in the march, chanting, “Macron, Macron, do not touch embryos.”
