Qatar is marking one year until the first match kicks off at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
A countdown clock has been unveiled at a celebration in the capital Doha.
The Gulf country has been preparing for the tournament since winning the bid in 2010.
It will be the first time the World Cup will be played in a Middle East nation.
