Dozens of people were killed after Russia allegedly attacked Ukraine with 20 missiles and a drone strike on Friday.
At least 23 people were killed, nearly all of them after two missiles slammed into an apartment building in the central Ukrainian city of Uman, approximately 215 kilometres south of Kyiv. Two 10-year-old children and a toddler were among the dead.
Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv also came under attack for the first time in nearly two months, although there were no reports that any targets were hit.
Eric Sorensen reports on the aftermath of the strikes and on Ukraine’s efforts on the front lines to push back the Russians.
