Donald Trump faces more charges of trying to overturn election

Donald Trump is facing more criminal charges connected to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 election result and the 6 January storming of the Capitol Building.

The former US president has been charged with conspiracy to fraud the US, witness tampering and conspiracy against the rights of US citizens.

He has been summoned to appear before a federal court in Washington on 3 August.
