Iranian opposition members in Germany and England celebrated outside the Iranian embassies in Berlin and London following the news of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi's death in a helicopter crash.

In Berlin, several dozen members of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) gathered at the embassy to express their hopes for freedom and democracy in Iran.

"I am very happy today, because we want to bring freedom and democracy for Iran. We have so many Iranian units, movement units and resistance units inside of Iran. They are very, very happy today. They also celebrate inside of Iran, because he (Raisi) killed all of our people," an NCRI supporter said.

Meanwhile, in London, a group of people with Iranian monarchy flags, Israeli flags, and British flags gathered outside the embassy to celebrate the news.
