There may be hope in a simmering African conflict that has forced tens of thousands of people from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to flee their homes.

In recent months, the rebel group M-23 has seized several towns in the eastern part of the country.

There is a new ceasefire in place as of Friday, but the question is whether it holds.
