United Kingdom researchers say they are developing a new COVID-19 vaccine that could replace injections with a nasal spray.
They say it will be cheap to produce and will not need to be kept at low temperatures, making distribution easier in remote locations.
It is among dozens of new projects known as second-generation vaccines.
Al Jazeera’s Andrew Simmons has been given access to the laboratories at the University of Bristol, where the vaccine is being developed.
