COVID-19: PM confirms hotel quarantine for arrivals from high-risk countries

Boris Johnson has confirmed that arrivals from 22 different countries will have to quarantine in Government-provided hotels "without exception".

The countries include South Africa, Portugal and South American nations.

The new measures are aimed at preventing new variants of the COVID-19 virus from reaching the UK.
