Covid-19 News: An estimated 52 lakh Covishield doses are in the reserves of private hospitals in Maharashtra and could be close to expiry. The Indian Medical Association recently expressed concern that a large part of the estimated 50 lakh Covishield doses with private hospitals across the country were on the verge of going to waste. Now a data from the Health Department of Maharashtra shows that there are about 52 lakh Covishield doses lying with private hospitals in the state. According to the IMA, most of them are very close to expiry.
