COVID-19: Mozambique's fight against infections

The biggest hospital in Maputo is also the busiest health facility in Mozambique.

It is called the Hospital Central de Maputo and has reached a peak as the South African COVID variant has hit the small country and despite restrictions by President Filipe Nyusi, it remains a fight that is reliant on donations including oxygen tanks and any future vaccines.

Officially, 47,000 people have caught the virus with 486 fatalities.
