Despite COVID-19 vaccines now widely available, a shot for Canadian children aged five and under has still not been approved.
The lack of progress remains also remains a concern for parents as pediatric hospitals report an increase in infections among children.
Out of more than 53,000 COVID cases reported country-wide between April 10 and April 16, over 3,000 -- almost 6 per cent -- were kids under 11.
