In Germany, there are clear regulations as to who gets vaccinated first — and vulnerable people are at the top of the queue. But while many over 80-year-olds in Germany have already been given the jab, other groups are left hanging. We visited a family with a child who needs artificial ventilation and his disabled step father, both of whom are cared for by the child’s mother. All three are completely exhausted after a year in almost complete isolation.
