US President Donald Trump has again said his country is making strides in containing the coronavirus pandemic, despite the surging cases and hospitalisations.
But with record-high new infections and no economic stimulus package in sight, stock markets took a tumble on Monday.
With just days to go before the presidential elections, Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden have intensified their efforts on the key battleground states.
