PM hopeful Liz Truss will "look at what needs to be done" in response to the cost of living crisis, says supporter and Conservative MP Paul Scully.

Ms Truss is pledging to pause green energy levies to help those most affected by the cost of living and says there is a strong case to lift the ban on fracking.

This would damage the 2050 net zero target, which her rival Rishi Sunak is "committed" to reaching.
