Ontario issued a stay-at-home order and declared a second state of emergency on Monday, which will be enforced by the police but is not a curfew.

New projections released on Tuesday show the virus is spreading faster than ever as Premier Doug Ford warned of “dark days” coming to the province.

Projections show if the province’s daily case count increases by seven per cent, it could face 40,000 cases a day by mid-February.

Abigail Bimman has more on what’s expected for Ontario in the coming days.
