With over 300 people in Ontario's ICUs, the province's premier Doug Ford will introduce stronger restrictions Tuesday, but a curfew as Quebec is off the table.

Sources tell Global News the province's new daily COVID-19 cases could double to more than 6,000 cases daily by the end of the month, and the deaths due to the virus could reach 700 to 1,000 by early February, according to modelling data.

Abigail Bimman explains what experts say must be done to control the spread, and why the province is rejecting a curfew.
