Conservative leadership: Liz Truss attacks Rishi Sunak's economic plans

Conservative leadership candidate Liz Truss has attacked Rishi Sunak's economic plans in the wake of last night's debate.

But she avoided giving her thoughts on the nature of the campaign so far after some described the former Chancellor's tone as "aggressive" during the debate.

Questioned by broadcasters on whether she felt annoyed about being talked over, she simply said she had managed to put her case across and that the audience understood what she was saying.
