योगी आदित्यनाथ के नेतृत्व वाली उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार ने नौ दिवसीय चैत्र नवरात्रि और राम नवमी त्योहारों के दौरान मंदिरों में दुर्गा सप्तशती और अखंड रामायण का पाठ करने का फैसला किया। इस फैसले पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता स्वामी प्रसाद मौर्य ने कहा कि योगी आदित्यनाथ सरकार अपने खर्च पर इस कार्यक्रम को आयोजित करने के लिए मजबूर है क्योंकि देश भर के लोगों ने रामचरितमानस का पाठ करना बंद कर दिया है।

Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government decided to hold recitation of Durga Saptashati and Akhand Ramayan, in temples during the nine-day Chaitra Navratri and Ram Navami festivals. Reacting to the decision, Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya said that the Yogi Adityanath govt is forced to hold the event at its own expense as people around the country have stopped reciting the Ramcharitamanas.
