Seventy years after mountaineer Edmund Hillary and sherpa Tenzing Norgay climbed the world’s highest peak on 29 May 1953, Nepal has celebrated the Platinum jubilee of the first ascent of Everest. But many are concerned climate change is making ascents more dangerous – and that could impact mountain tourism.
