The Government's new energy strategy promises to increase wind, nuclear, solar and hydrogen power to make 95% of UK electricity low carbon by 2030.

Geopolitics and energy security mean that the UK will need to generate much of it's own green energy in the future, but fossil fuels will be needed in the short term.
