Celebrations around the world to welcome in 2024

Sydney and Auckland were the first of the world's first major cities to welcome in 2024.

Huge crowds of revellers cheered spectacular displays that lit up the skies over Sydney Harbour and New Zealand's Sky Tower.

Those events were followed by dazzling celebrations in countries across Asia.
