No less than 120 dogs were found in an apartment in Russia’s Tolyatti.

Volunteers from ‘Help’ reported that a woman had kept the animals in her home in a very poor state, underfed and sick. They said she began with around eight dogs at first, but kept sheltering more. When she received complaints from neighbors about the noise and smell, she didn’t want to say goodbye to her pets.

Now nearly all of the dogs have been taken to a shelter and are waiting to be adopted into loving homes. Specialists are looking after the rescued pets that require intensive care.
