There has been a terrifying increase in extortion cases across Canada.
In Ontario, Peel Regional Police have created a task force to investigate 29 cases of extortion and have made five arrests so far.

Meanwhile, in Edmonton, there have been 34 cases of extortion, arson, or firearms offences since October.

As Heather Yourex-West report, this disturbing trend is primarily targeting the south Asian community.
