Ottawa released its plan Wednesday on how to divide up the new cap on international students among the provinces.
The total number of student visa applications has been adjusted based on the population of each province – which means some will see a drastic decrease in international students while others will see their numbers rise.
Of the nearly 485,000 allocations, the lion’s share will go to Ontario.
Uday Rana reports on how each province will be impacted and what experts are saying about the plan.
