Drone footage above Monterey County in central California on Monday showed an entire community inundated by brown waters after a levee on the Pajaro River failed, prompting evacuations.

The flooding is the latest disaster stemming from a string of winter storms to strike California as another atmospheric river this week threatens more floods.
