BREAKING: Irish Foreign Minister taken off Belfast stage following security alert

Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney has abruptly left a stage mid-speech following a security alert in Belfast.

The Reuters news agency is reporting that a suspect device was discovered in a hijacked van in the car park of the venue.

Mr Coveney was speaking at The Houben Centre to address the Building Common Ground event by the John and Pat Hume Foundation.
