Boris Johnson says he has "got to listen to what people are saying" after a suffering a triple blow losing two by-elections and the resignation of a Cabinet minister.

The Prime Minister admitted the Conservatives had "tough by-elections results" which were a reflection of a "lot of things" and "voters were going through a tough time at the moment."

Mr Johnson said they would "get through it" and "reflect on where voters are" citing the rising fuel prices and costs of living and there was "more they could do" as a government.
