Brazil's right-wing president Jair Bolsonaro rallied tens of thousands of supporters on Tuesday to mark the country's Independence Day. But his opponents also turned out in force to protest his rule. With Bolsonaro's popularity slipping, a year ahead of national elections, the leader dubbed the "Trump of the Tropics" is ramping up his attacks on critics -- including the courts, and electoral system.
