The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has pledged a $75m aid package to Palestinians during his meeting with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Blinken was on first day of his visit to the region to cement the ceasefire with Israel after its 11-day bombing of the Gaza Strip.
He also said the US would reopen a consulate in occupied East Jerusalem.
