Blame game begins over ruined holidays

Hundreds more flights have been cancelled across the UK ahead of the extended bank holiday.

There were angry scenes at several airports as travellers learned their holidays had been ruined.

The government has blamed the chaos on a “lack of preparation" by airlines - but Labour and the unions say ministers should have done more.
