Biden signs order restricting asylum seekers at border

U.S. President Joe Biden has signed an executive order that would deport migrants crossing the border illegally and prevent them from seeking asylum, with some exceptions. The new restrictions are activated when the daily average of border arrests tops 2,500 over a week and will be paused when arrests drop below 1,500 per day, according to a White House official.
