US President-elect Joe Biden introduced several of his national security nominees on Tuesday, marking a reversal of President Donald Trump’s “America First” foreign policy.
"It’s a team that reflects the fact that America is back. Ready to lead the world, not retreat from it," he said.
Biden also officially unveiled his nominees for secretary of state and secretary of homeland security, touting the national security team’s experience and diverse backgrounds.
But some critics say his choices reflect the return of the Washington foreign policy establishment.
