America Bell 212 Helicopter: ईरान के राष्ट्रपति इब्राहिम रईसी और विदेश मंत्री हुसैन अमीर अब्दुल्लाहियन की हेलीकॉप्टर क्रैश में मौत के बाद देश के गृह मंत्री अहमद वाहिदी ने बताया है कि खराब मौसम के चलते रईसी के हेलीकॉप्टर को हार्ड लैंडिंग करने के लिए मजबूर होना पड़ा. रईसी जिस हेलीकॉप्टर में सवार थे, वह बेल 212 था. ईरान की समाचार एजेंसियों ने कहा कि राष्ट्रपति रईसी जिस बेल 212 हेलीकॉप्टर पर सवार थे. वह 1979 की क्रांति के बाद से ईरान को नहीं बेचा गया है.

This Vietnam War-era helicopter dates back to 1971 and was quickly adopted by both the United States and Canada. Iran’s air force and navy have at least 10 of these.
