Baba Azmi's 'Mee Raqsam' wins big in IFFI Ireland. The film celebrates India's composite culture, and it is about a Muslim tailor supporting his 15-year-old daughter's desire to learn Bharatanatyam. In an interview to NDTV, actor Shabana Azmi tells NDTV, "Identity is many things. I am a woman, an actor, wife, a mother, a Muslim. Being a Muslim is only one part of my identity, it cannot be my complete identity at the absence of all else. My cultural identity as an Indian is something I hold very precious."

NDTV is one of the leaders in the production and broadcasting of un-biased and comprehensive news and entertainment programmes in India and abroad. NDTV delivers reliable information across all platforms: TV, Internet and Mobile.
