उमेश पाल की हत्या के मामले में विचाराधीन अतीक इस समय नैनी सेंट्रल जेल में है। माफिया से नेता बने अतीक अहमद के खिलाफ मामले में उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस ने गुरुवार (13 अप्रैल) को चार्जशीट दायर की, जिसमें अतीक के हवाले से कहा गया है कि उसके पाकिस्तान की आईएसआई और लश्कर-ए-तैयबा से "सीधे संबंध" हैं।

Atiq, under trial for the murder of Umesh Pal, is currently in the Naini Central Jail. The Uttar Pradesh Police filed its chargesheet in the case against mafia-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed on Thursday (13 April), in which Atiq is quoted as saying that he has “direct connections” with Pakistan's ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
