COVID-19 cases in China are on the verge of rising to their highest level since the pandemic began, almost tripling in the past week alone.

Workers at Apple's largest manufacturing site expressed their frustration, facing violence from the authorities.

The "zero COVID" policy is thought to be behind the unrest, where parts of the country re-enter lockdown as new cases emerge - despite politicians refusing to use the term.
