Analysis: Why is Europe in a midwinter heat wave?

Sky News' Thomas Moore looks at why warm air is dominating Europe at what should be the coldest time of the year.

He says that while temperature records typically fluctuate by a few tenths of a degree, this year "they have been smashed".

Some meteorologists are even calling it an "extreme weather event".
