All UK arrivals must quarantine for 14 days from June to slow coronavirus

Anyone arriving in the UK from abroad will need to self-isolate for two weeks from next month and if they fail to comply they could be refused entry or - in England at least - face fines. (Subscribe: https://bit.ly/C4_News_Subscribe)

The Home Secretary said it was necessary to reduce the risk of new cases crossing the border at a time it would be most effective - but airlines say it will be a disaster for the industry, while others have demanded to know why quarantines were not introduced earlier in the pandemic.
