An Air Canada passenger in B.C. says he's been left frustrated and angry by the lack of effort on the part of the airline to retrieve his lost luggage and he tracked it down using an Apple AirTag.

Paul Kliffer and his wife had purchased the AirTag after hearing about numerous cases of lost luggage and placed it in their bag. But following a trip to Mexico City, that purchase has been put to the test after the couple tracked their bag to the city even after they returned home this past November. He opened a claim and the airline said their bag would be returned home shortly, but two weeks later they discovered the bag was now sitting at the international airport in Madrid.

As Consumer Matters reporter Anne Drewa reports, the Kliffers now feel that Air Canada is doing little to retrieve it and, like their bag, feel abandoned.
