A Spanish ship carrying aid to Gaza is expected to set sail from Cyprus this weekend.

The maritime mission is in addition to the international air drops of aid into Gaza — efforts that the United Nations says do very little to alleviate suffering and hunger.

This comes as at least 5 Palestinians were reportedly killed, and several others wounded, in Gaza after boxes of humanitarian aid fell on them by mistake.
