Afghan Ambassador's Daughter Case | Sheikh Rasheed Press Conference | Dunya News

A case of alleged kidnapping of Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Alikhel’s daughter has been registered at Kohsar Police Station in Islamabad today (Sunday).

In a statement, the victim girl told that she took a taxi on her way back from a shopping mall when a person forcefully sat with her and started torturing her. I fell unconscious and when I woke up, I found myself over a heap of garbage, she added.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan took notice of man-handling of the daughter of Afghanistan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Alikhel.

The premier directed the concerned authorities to take every possible step to arrest the culprits behind man-handling of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter and bring out the facts within 48 hours.

While issuing directives, Imran Khan said that Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed, Islamabad police and law-enforcement agencies should investigate the matter on priority basis.

He said that all agencies should cooperate with the federal police in investigating the matter.

On the other hand, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that Islamabad police is in constant touch with the Afghan ambassador and the girl and all steps are being taken to arrest the culprits.

Speaking exclusively to Dunya News, he said that the daughter of Afghan envoy had hired a taxi.

Sh Rasheed said that action will be taken on the statement of the ambassador’s daughter.

وفاقی وزیر داخلہ شیخ رشید نے کہا ہے کہ افغان سفیر کی بیٹی کے مبینہ اغوا کے ملزمان ایک دو روز میں گرفتار کر لئے جائیں گے، معاملے کی جیسے جیسے تحقیقات کر رہے ہیں، کڑیاں مل رہی ہیں۔

وزیر داخلہ شیخ رشید نے پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ وزیراعظم نے واقعہ میں ملوث ملزمان کو فوری گرفتارکرنےکی ہدایت کی، عمران خان نے حکم دیا ہے کہ افغان سفیرکےکیس کوترجیحی بنیادوں پرحل کیاجائے۔ وزیر داخلہ نے کہا کہ بھارت نے افغان سفیرکی بیٹی کےاغواکیس کوبہت اچھالا، بھارت پاکستان کوبدنام کرنے کیلئےاپنےمیڈیاکواستعمال کرتاہے۔

اغوا واقعے سے متعلق تفصیلات سے آگاہ کرتے ہوئے شیخ رشید نے کہا کہ افغان سفیرکی بیٹی گھرسےپیدل نکلی، ٹیکسی سے کھڈامارکیٹ پہنچی۔ لڑکی ایف 6 سے گھر جا سکتی تھی لیکن ایف 9 جانےکوترجیح دی، اس کے کھڈا مارکیٹ سے راولپنڈی جانے کی تحقیقات کررہےہیں۔ واقعہ 16 جولائی کو ہوا، رپورٹ کل کیاگیا۔امید ہے ایک دو روزمیں ملزمان گرفتارہوجائیں گے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ خطےمیں پاکستان کی اہمیت بہت بڑھ چکی ہے، وزیراعظم کی خارجہ پالیسی کی دنیامیں مقبولیت ہے، کل بذریعہ ہیلی کاپٹر 15 لوگ داسو گئے، داسومیں کام بند ہونے کی افواہیں پھیلائی گئیں، چین کےساتھ مل کر داسو واقعہ کی تحقیقات کررہےہیں، پاک سرزمین کوافغانستان کیخلاف استعمال نہیں ہونےدیں گے، افغانستان سےبھی یہی توقع رکھتےہیں۔
