On International Women's Day, Russian President Vladimir Putin praised motherhood as the “amazing destiny" of women, and said that the “tireless care for children" is “the most important thing” for any woman.
"The greatest gift that nature has endowed you with - the birth of children," he said on Friday.
His comments come as Russia suffered more military losses during its war in Ukraine.
